1. Service Overview

By opting in to AeROC WhatsApp Notifications, you authorize AeROC (and its partners) to send you messages related to your solar plant’s performance, alerts, and reports via WhatsApp. This service is provided to enhance your experience and keep you informed about your system health and energy generation.  

2. Consent

By enabling WhatsApp notifications:  

  • You consent to receive messages from AeROC on your registered WhatsApp number.
  • You understand that these messages may include alerts, performance reports, and system-related updates.
  • You can opt out (unsubscribe) from this service at any time through the AeROC platform or via the WhatsApp “Unsubscribe” option.
  • Even after opting out of WhatsApp communication, AeROC may continue to send essential system or maintenance alerts through other registered communication channels, if applicable.

3. Third-Party Platform Disclaimer  

WhatsApp is a third-party platform owned and operated by Meta Platforms Inc. AeROC does not have control over its data processing, privacy, or message encryption policies. While AeROC endeavors to ensure confidentiality and integrity of communications, it cannot guarantee absolute security of messages transmitted through WhatsApp.  

4. No Legal Obligation  

AeROC provides WhatsApp alerts on a best-effort basis for informational purposes only. AeROC shall not be legally liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or missed notifications arising from message delays, failures, or non-delivery.  

The responsibility for plant monitoring, maintenance, and corrective action rests with the plant owner and/or installer.  

These alerts do not replace on-site supervision, official notices, or contractual maintenance obligations.  

5. User Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that your registered mobile number remains active and accessible for receiving notifications. AeROC shall not be liable for failure to deliver alerts due to inactive numbers, device issues, or user-specific configurations.  

You also acknowledge that WhatsApp messages may contain system information that could be visible if your device is shared or compromised. Users are advised to maintain proper device security and confidentiality.  

6. Data Privacy  

AeROC will use your contact information solely for the purpose of delivering plant-related updates and alerts.  

Your data will not be shared with third parties except for message delivery partners (e.g., WhatsApp Business API providers) in accordance with privacy and data protection standards.  For more details, please refer to AeROC’s Privacy Policy.  

7. Unsubscribe / Manage Preferences  

You can:  

  • Unsubscribe anytime via WhatsApp by replying STOP or clicking the Unsubscribe button in any message.
  • Re-enable notifications anytime through the AeROC portal.
  • Modify your alert preferences (Critical / Key / Comprehensive) directly in your AeROC account.

8. Service Modifications  

AeROC reserves the right to alter, suspend, or discontinue WhatsApp alerts at its discretion for operational, regulatory, or technical reasons. Users will be informed of material changes where feasible.  

9. Future Scope of Services  

AeROC continually strives to enhance its digital communication and service capabilities through WhatsApp. In the future, we may introduce additional features and value-added services accessible through this channel. These may include, but are not limited to:  

a) Service Plan Payments

Customers may be provided the option to securely make payments for cleaning or technical services for their plants, WhatsApp plan subscriptions, or renewals directly via WhatsApp using verified payment links or integrated payment gateways.  

AeROC will never request sensitive payment details such as passwords, OTPs, or card numbers directly through WhatsApp messages.  

b) Service Opt-ins  

AeROC may offer customers the ability to opt in to additional services related to their plants, such as advanced analytics, Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) management suite, and expanded categories of system alerts or insights.  

c) Cross-Service Communication  

AeROC may use WhatsApp to inform customers about related service enhancements, support tools, or new platform features designed to improve plant performance and monitoring experience.  

d) Cross-Selling of Products and Services  

AeROC may provide updates or promotional information regarding relevant products and services, including solar equipment, monitoring and reporting tools, service management systems, and other sustainability solutions.  

All such communications will comply with applicable privacy guidelines, and users will retain the right to opt out of promotional communications at any time.  

10. Governing Law  

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai.
